We have prepared the 2018 Valentine’s Day Experience by El Lago restaurant, which will be available throughout February. Our Director Paco García and Executive Chef Juan José Carmona have designed a unique Tasting Menu at an affordable price, which includes the possibility of staying in the adjacent complex of Greenlife Golf.
The Valentine’s Day Experience 2018 will be priced at 70 euros per person. With the possibility of adding the accommodation from 90 euros per person from Sunday to Thursday to 100 euros on Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations with accommodation can be made at the telephone number 952 83 91 42 whilst those that only include the gastronomic menu may be requested at 952 83 23 71.
The 2018 Valentine’s Menu is a fusion between classic dishes and more recent creations. The dishes are the following:
■ Alternate layers of marinated chicken breast with foie-gras and caramelized apple
■ Vegetable ceviche with avocado, coriander and citrus juice with touches of ginger and turmeric
■ Roasted horse mackerel with black garlic and potatoes gazpachuelo
■ Stewed beef with bean, asparagus and juniper hummus.
■ Chocolate mousse royal with cocoa and royal saffron ice cream.
The pairing begins with a classic cocktail, Sex on the Lake. This is followed by 2017 Breca Rosa wine, a recently launched wine from Jorge Ordóñez. The paring continues with a 2016 Garnacha de Fuego, also from Bodegas Breca and ends with an Express Martini, with vodka, Kahlua and coffee.
